Math
The focus in 4th grade Math is to further the understanding of Multiplication and Division. A large portion of our curriculum also focuses on fractions. We also cover geometry, problem solving, graphing, and measurement.
Science
In Science we us New Gen Phenom units to get students to think like engineers. We teach Science using hands on activities that make children think and problem solve their way through Science. We believe this will get our students ready for the jobs that will be available in the future. We have a wonderful Science Lab at Nikkari filled with tools we need in order to be scientists.
Social Studies
In Social Studies we focus on the regions of the United States. We will learn how the regions of the U.S. differ and how together we all interact to create an interdependent society. We will also learn about the state and local government.
